Ops manager, Chip Freese, programming the over 280 units ordered to maintain their social distance requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic and talk building to building throughout their district with simply a hand-held radio.

FreCom Inc. known as ‘Local Business serving Local People’ was formed by Chuck Freese in 1983 offering two-way radios and repeater services following a sales affiliation with Frank Gilpin at Niplig Electronics. By 1986, cellular systems were being turned on in the Philadelphia market, and FreCom was the first dealer to offer pagers and car phones in Southern Chester County. As personal cellphones became available, we at FreCom Inc. were dealers offering up to 4 carriers for all types of businesses and consumers.

FreCom Inc continues its tradition as Chuck’s son Chip, is directly involved in the business and prepares to take the reins as the second generation to offer the best in wireless communications in the 4 state area.
